More about
PIXEL
ART
Pixel art is a form of digital art, created through the use of software, where images are edited on the pixel level. The aesthetic for this kind of graphics comes from 8-bit and 16-bit computers and video game consoles, in addition to other limited systems such as graphing calculators. In most pixel art, the color palette used is extremely limited in size, with some pixel art using only two colors.
If you want to create a digital version of Pixel Art image go to PixelArt.com to create your own art form using graph paper.

Lesson 2
Did you know about Alebrijes?
All across Mexico, fantastical creatures can be found dotting the streets, covered in bright colors, giant wings, bulging eyes and viper tongues. These are alebrijes, papier-mâché creations that have become a staple of Mexican folk art. But how did these beautiful monsters come to be? That’s all thanks to one man with a dream. As history has it, after falling into an unconscious state, Pedro Linares dreamed up a series of horrific creatures. Upon waking, he created his first sculpture. Today, his family continues to carry on the tradition of monster-making, keeping Pedro’s visions alive.

"Pi"
A new Earth-sized planet
Scientists discovered a planet called K2-315b. They nicknamed it “Pi Earth” because it orbits its star every 3.14 days
How do you imagine PI?
Let's paint it!
Researchers have discovered a new Earth-sized planet. It’s orbiting a dim red star some 185 light-years away. The planet’s official name is K2-315b. But its nickname is “Pi Earth.” The reason: It orbits its star every 3.14 days.
That orbit reminded astronomers of the irrational number pi, written as the Greek letter π. An irrational number is one that can’t be written as a fraction or a ratio. And the first three digits of pi are 3.14.
